Beta Testers Wanted

ROO Data is a free iOS app that downloads telemetry files directly from your AiM data logger to your phone over WiFi. It currently supports the AiM Solo2 DL and MXQ — whether you're on a bike, in a car, or driving a kart.

The app is ready for testing and we're inviting the broader motorsport community to try it out and give us feedback before the full App Store release.

What the app does

✓Connects to your AiM device's WiFi network at the track
✓Discovers your logger automatically
✓Shows all your recorded sessions with track name, lap count, and best lap time
✓Downloads your .xrz files to your phone
✓Uploads them to your free account at motorsportdata.net

Your data is stored securely in your account and ready for analysis.

How to join the beta

You'll need an iPhone running iOS 16.6 or later and an AiM data logger (Solo2 DL or MXQ).

Create your free account

Head to motorsportdata.net and sign up. You can also create your account directly in the app.

Try it at the track

Next time you're at the track, connect your phone to your AiM device's WiFi network (it starts with "AiM-SOLO2DL" or similar), open the app, and download your sessions.

What we're looking for

This is an early beta. Everything works — we've tested it across multiple devices and tracks — but we want real-world feedback from real riders and drivers.

FAQ

Is it free?Yes. The app is free and your account is free.
Do I need to be at the track?You need to be near your AiM device to download (it connects over the device's WiFi). But you can sign up and explore the app from anywhere.
What about Android?iOS first. Android is on the roadmap.
What happens to my data?Your telemetry files are uploaded securely to your account. You own your data.
